Château Meyney’s vineyard is planted of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot, on a perfectly-drained gravel soil that provides ideal conditions for grapes ripening. This unusually high share of Petit Verdot explains a particular trait of the wines, which regularly show notes of leather and musk after a period of time. The wine is full-bodied, well-rounded and structured. After ageing, the wine displays the remarkable charm of the best Saint-Estèphe: complexity, balance and harmony.

It's clear that this is hugely concentrated, as is the Montrose right next door, but there's also beautiful juice and freshness underneath the black fruits and the powerful grip. Tannins, acidity and fruit: it's all there. This is great quality and should be long-lived, with a rich palate, evenly balanced and austere in all the right places. Another good vintage at this increasingly impressive property.

Wineworldinc.com is open to taking orders online 24hrs a day, 7 days a week. We do, however, observe all National Holidays in Barbados. Should your order be scheduled to be delivered on one of these days, we will reschedule for the next business day.

International Deliveries

We do not offer international delivery at this time.

Free Delivery

We offer FREE island wide delivery in Barbados on orders $250 BBD and more. Orders less than $250 BBD can be collected at any one of our six locations or we can deliver for a fee of $25 BBD. Our delivery team is on the road Monday through Saturday. We require 48 hours within which to make the delivery. Please note the delivery fee applies to one delivery location per order. Additional delivery locations may inccur a delivery fee.

Next Day Delivery

We are happy to offer next day delivery on orders placed Monday through Friday before 5pm. Orders placed after 5pm will be delivered on the following delivery day. Orders placed from 5pm on Friday through 5pm on Sunday, will be delivered on Monday.

To make arrangements for your purchase to be delivered, at checkout, simply select the day and period of time we can deliver your purchase. Please indicate your preferred delivery window: 12pm to 3pm or 2pm to 5pm.

Due to the nature of the products we sell, we require that they are signed for by an adult upon delivery. We cannot accept any instructions to leave the goods in any location, however secure, without being signed for.

Christmas:Order by December 19 for guaranteed delivery by Christmas Eve.New Year’s Eve:Order by December 28 for guaranteed delivery by New Year’s Eve.

Store Pickup

If you select Store Pickup as the delivery option at checkout, you can choose which Wine World store you wish to collect your order from. Store Pickups are available the next business day.

You can pick up your order yourself or have someone else do it.

If you're picking up yourself: Have your order number (from the "Order Confirmation" email) and a valid government-issued photo ID ready.

If someone else is picking up:

  • You (the purchaser) need to provide the contact details of the person collecting your order at checkout.
  • In the order comments at checkout, provide the pickup person's full name and phone number.
  • The pickup person will need to show their valid government-issued photo ID and the order number at the store. (They must be 18 years of age or older).


Wine World reserves the right to decline delivery if you or your representative cannot verify your identity.
