About the position
We are currently seeking a dynamic and energetic Delivery Driver to join our team! The role focusses on providing prompt delivery of orders while maintaining an exceptional customer experience. In addition, this role has responsibility for efficiently and accurately handling the movement of incoming and outgoing stock for the warehouse facility.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide a friendly and efficient delivery experience
- Accurately load outgoing stock, ensuring all items correspond to paperwork
- Execute deliveries in a safe and efficient manner adhering to all traffic regulations
- Acquire all necessary signatures/payments for each delivery
- Assist with dispatching and receiving stock to the warehouse facility
- Assist with organising the warehouse to ensure tidiness and orderliness at all times
- Assist with inventory counts as required
- Assist customers in Wine World store locations as needed
Requirements
- Valid light goods manual licence with experience in providing excellent customer service
- Organised and efficient with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 30lbs
- Ability to work weekends and special events
- Ability to work at multiple store locations
- Interest in wines & spirits
